Electrical Testing & Inspection

At 3s Northampton Ltd, we are capable of conducting one-off or periodic testing for your business’ entire electrics, keeping your staff safe at all times. Electrical regulations state that installations should have an Electrical Condition Report inline with the below guidelines or at change in occupancy, so it is important to make sure all your electrics are regularly tested to keep your premises safe and without fault. Not only can our electricians highlight potential faults, they can also offer advice on potentially upgrading your existing system.

EICR

Electrical installation condition reports (EICR) are used to check the safety, operation and compliance of an electrical system - these are needed every 1/5 years on most commercial properties (see below):

Commercial Installations Change of occupancy or every 5 years
Public Spaces/Entertainment 1 year
Industrial Installations 3 years
Offices, Shops and Laboratories 5 years
